My name is Houda el Moukaddem. I’m from the Netherlands and have been photographing weddings in The Netherlands for over eight years. I used to combine photography with an office job, but left that job years ago to fully focus on my work as a wedding photographer. I took many courses and trained with some of the best wedding photographers in the Netherlands.

Passionate About Photography, Travelling And Family

I’m passionate about travelling and nature. My husband Yassin and I used to travel often. Travelling is a bit more challenging now we have three little boys, but we love to show them how beautiful the world is. In my spare time I enjoy designing jewellery for my webshop, being outdoors and spending time with my family.

Love is very important to me, in my personal life and in my work.

Capturing Moments That Would Otherwise Be Lost In Time

What I love most about my job is that photographing allows me to capture moments that would otherwise be lost in time. Often, when I show wedding couples my photo galleries, they tell me they had totally forgotten about a certain moment and are delighted that I caught it on camera. That’s what makes my job so special. That, and working in an environment where everybody is cheerful and positive. I always feel honoured to be there!
